Malaysia Airlines KL–Fukuoka: MATTA Fair promo up to 30% off, book by 14 September

What happened. Malaysia Airlines resumed direct KL–Fukuoka flights on 2 September 2026 (MH56 departs KUL 11:45pm, arrives Fukuoka 7:05am; MH57 returns). Five times a week on a Boeing 737-8. The first flights were 88–90% full.

The promotion. For the MATTA Fair, up to 30% off for bookings made by 14 September 2026. Enrich members get another 5%, and paying with a Visa card on MH's site or app adds a further 5%.

What it means for you. The normal direct return fare KL–Fukuoka is around RM1,932 (KAYAK, checked 9 Sept 2026); with 30% off it drops below RM1,400. The overnight flight means you land in the morning and can start day one immediately. Check the flying days (five a week, not daily) before you book hotels.
