Every place below is from its own official page (or the station's, park's, mall's, JICA's or mosque's), checked 2 October 2026. Status is written as the source says it. Places that appear only in Tobu Railway's guide or on the Yokohama and Kanagawa visitors' lists, and not on their own sites, are listed at the end.

Short answer. Three day trips from Tokyo, three different calls. Nikko: you can pray — Tobu Nikko Station (washing area, qibla indicator, counter until 16:30) and Tobu World Square in Kinugawa Onsen — but not one restaurant in Tochigi could be confirmed on its own site; bring food from Tokyo. Yokohama: pray at World Porters 6F (ask at the 2F counter), eat the halal lunch curry at JICA Yokohama's canteen in Shinko (open to the public, cash only) or take away from CARVAAN's deli at Takashimaya; Yokohama Masjid in Tsuzuki is far from the centre. Kamakura: two restaurants offer Muslim set menus (halal chicken, no pork or alcohol), but kitchens and tableware are shared. None of these restaurants appears on a halal certifier's public list, and there is no certified-level restaurant in Kanagawa or Tochigi.

Going for the autumn leaves? Weathernews (2nd forecast, 8 October 2026) expects Nikko to turn from late October, a little later than usual after a warm autumn; for Irohazaka, Travel Voice reported Weathernews' figure as around 23 October. Those weekends are crowded — book the tour or train early.
