Every place below is from its own official page (or the airport's, park's, mall's or mosque's), checked 2 October 2026. Status is written as the source says it. Places that appear only on Okinawa's tourism lists, and not on their own sites, are listed at the end.

Short answer. In Okinawa, plan your meals — confirmed options are few. Pray at Naha Airport (international area 4F: men's and women's rooms with a washing area, open to anyone), AEON Mall Okinawa Rycom (1F) or Okinawa Masjid in Nishihara (call first). Eat at JICA Okinawa's canteen in Urasoe (open to the public; most dishes carry a halal logo; cash only) or at Hotel Yugaf Inn in Nago (Muslim-friendly meals with halal ingredients and separate utensils — book 3 days ahead). Shuri Castle has one meat-free set marked "halal-compatible". None of these restaurants appears on a halal certifier's public list.
