Halal Food in Nagoya & Chubu Centrair Airport: No Restaurant Names Its Certifying Body

Every place below is from its own official site or Chubu Centrair Airport's pages, checked 2 October 2026. Status is written as the source says it: "halal ingredients" or "Muslim friendly" is never written as "halal certified". I read the label; you decide.

Short answer. In Nagoya and the rest of Aichi, no restaurant names its halal certifying body (the lists of JHA, NAHA, JHCPO and the Japan Halal Foundation have no restaurant in Aichi, Gifu, Nagano or Ishikawa). The clearest option is Mega Kebab: all ingredients halal, no pork or alcohol, and the central kitchen that makes the kebab meat is certified by the Kyoto Halal Council (June 2017) — but the shops themselves are not yet certified. There are 5 in Nagoya (3 in Osu, 1 in Sakae, 1 in Kanayama) and 1 at Centrair. To pray: Masjid Nagoya (6 minutes from Honjin Station) and 3 prayer rooms at Centrair, including one after security for international flights.
