Tokyo Disney Tickets Go Up from 10 October 2026: What a Family of Four Really Pays (¥8,400–12,400, Date-Priced)
Checked 2026-09-18
Ticket prices from the official Tokyo Disney Resort calendar as reported by Tabibito Port (14 July 2026, confirmed 3 August) and Castel (4 August 2026), with Nikkei and GAME Watch reports on the Oriental Land announcement. Rate: ¥100 = RM2.633 (ECB, 17 Sept 2026). Checked 18 September 2026.
Short answer. Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea price tickets by date. For entry from 10 October 2026, the adult range moves from ¥7,900–10,900 (6 tiers) to ¥8,400–12,400 (7 tiers); the first ¥12,400 day is Sunday 11 October. For a family of 2 adults + 1 junior (12–17) + 1 child (4–11), that means ¥25,700 on the cheapest day and ¥40,900 on the most expensive day, a difference of about RM400 per family purely because of the date. If you can choose, pick a midweek working day outside Japanese holidays.
1. The new 1-Day Passport prices (entry from 10 October 2026)
| Tier | Adult (18+) | Junior (12–17) | Child (4–11) | Typical days |

| 1 (cheapest) | ¥8,400 | ¥7,000 | ¥5,000 | Midweek working days outside holidays |
| 2 | ¥8,900 | ¥7,400 | ¥5,300 | Ordinary working days |
| 3 | ¥9,400 | ¥7,800 | ¥5,600 | Busier working days |
| 4 | ¥9,900 | ¥8,400 | ¥5,600 | Fridays, some weekends |
| 5 | ¥10,900 | ¥9,000 | ¥5,600 | Most Saturdays/Sundays |
| 6 (new) | ¥11,900 | ¥9,800 | ¥5,900 | Sat 10 Oct, Sat 17 Oct |
| 7 (new) | ¥12,400 | ¥10,200 | ¥5,900 | Sun 11 Oct, Sun 18 Oct |
Sources: Tabibito Port (official calendar, 14 July 2026); Castel (4 August 2026). Before 10 October, the old range of ¥7,900–10,900 (adult) still applies. Children under 4 are free. Both parks charge the same price on the same day.
2. What a family of four pays (2 adults + 1 junior + 1 child)
| Day | Calculation | Total | ≈ RM |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cheapest (tier 1) | ¥8,400 × 2 + ¥7,000 + ¥5,000 | ¥25,700 | RM677 |
| Ordinary Saturday (tier 5) | ¥10,900 × 2 + ¥9,000 + ¥5,600 | ¥36,400 | RM958 |
| Most expensive (tier 7) | ¥12,400 × 2 + ¥10,200 + ¥5,900 | ¥40,900 | RM1,077 |
If both kids are 4–11: ¥26,800 (cheapest) to ¥36,600 (most expensive). If both are juniors: ¥30,800 to ¥45,200. Two days (Disneyland + DisneySea) at tier 1 ≈ ¥51,400 (RM1,353) for four; at tier 7 ≈ ¥81,800 (RM2,154).
3. Three ways to pay less
- Pick a midweek working day (Tuesday–Thursday) outside Japanese holidays. The gap between tier 1 and tier 7 is ¥15,200 (≈ RM400) for the family above, the price of a hotel night. Autumn holidays to avoid: Silver Week 19–23 September, 12 October (Sports Day), 3 November, 23 November.
- Compare your date's price in ringgit on Klook before buying: Tokyo Disney Resort 1-Day Passport on Klook (from RM255, 4.8/5 from 99,000 reviews, 18 Sept 2026). Klook tickets are official QR-code tickets at the same date-based price.
- Enter in the afternoon. On weekends and holidays there is a late-afternoon entry pass (from around 3 pm) at a lower price; useful if small kids won't last a full day. Check date availability on the official site.
4. Four things Malaysians should know
- Choose the park first. A 1-Day Passport is for one park only: Disneyland (classic, good for small kids) or DisneySea (unique to Japan, better for teens and adults). You can't switch parks on the same day with this pass.
- The price follows the entry date, not the purchase date. Buying in September for entry on 15 October still costs the 15 October price (new range). What does pay off is entering before 10 October: the old ¥7,900–10,900 range still applies to trips on 1–9 October.
- Halal food inside the parks is limited. Bring food from a convenience store in Maihama (salted onigiri, fruit) and [read the labels](/halal-labels-japan-convenience-store/); a few menus are pork-free but not certified. Prayer: a quiet room at guest services on request; bring a prayer mat.
- Sleep near, or sleep cheap? Hotels in Maihama (next to the parks) are expensive and full; Asakusa/Oshiage is 45–55 minutes by train with 4-person rooms at RM556–646 a night ([list and prices](/tokyo-hotels-for-families-real-prices/)). The first train reaches Maihama before the gates open.
