Every place below is from its own official page (or the airport's or mosque's), checked 2 October 2026; the Kobe Muslim Mosque on 28–29 September 2026. Status is written as the source says it. Places that only appear on tourism lists, and not on their own sites, are listed at the end.

Short answer. Yes, you can eat halal Kobe beef in Kobe — but book ahead and read the status. Misono (Sannomiya) serves halal Kobe beef courses with halal-only utensils, dishes and seasonings, but says it is not a certified halal restaurant; book by email at least 3 days ahead (¥22,000–41,800). Kobe Beef Genkichi says its beef is halal-certified but the restaurant and kitchen are not. Kobe Portopia Hotel has Muslim-friendly menus at 4 restaurants — book 4 days ahead. None names a certifying body. To pray: Kobe Muslim Mosque (Nakayamate) or Hyogo Masjid. In Himeji, one restaurant near the station has a Muslim-friendly sea-eel menu, and no prayer room could be confirmed.
