This is the frame I use in the free December pack (PDF, 18 pages, BM and EN). The prayer places and restaurants below come from each place's own official page — mosque, station, mall, restaurant — with the date I checked (28 Sept – 15 Oct 2026). Ticket, hotel and train prices are in the PDF with their check dates; here I write "price depends on the date" and give you a link to check your own dates. I do not guess.
Short answer. Fly into Tokyo (Narita or Haneda) and out of Kansai (KIX) so you never double back. Days 1–3 Tokyo (Asakusa, Tokyo Disney, Tokyo Camii + Shinjuku + Ueno), Day 4 Shinkansen to Osaka, Day 5 Kyoto day trip, Day 6 USJ or Namba, Day 7 home. Two things fix your dates: Tokyo Disney tickets go on sale 2 months before the entry date (14:00 Japan time) and reserved Shinkansen seats 1 month before (10:00 Japan time) — both from the official pages, checked 24 Sept 2026. For 6–12 Dec that means 7 Oct and 9 Nov.

- Why Tokyo first, Osaka second: Disney tickets (2 months ahead) fix your dates earlier than USJ; and flying home from KIX saves a day going back to Tokyo.
- No Disney? Swap Day 2 for Odaiba (DECKS Tokyo Beach has a prayer room on floor 5, site) or Skytree (a prayer area on floor 1 on the official floor guide, site).
- Friday falls on Day 6: Osaka Ibaraki Mosque is far from Namba; it is more practical to pray in a small group at the Namba CITY or JR Osaka prayer room — or move Kyoto to the Friday and pray at Kyoto Grand Mosque.

3. Traps
- "Muslim-friendly" is not "halal." In tourism lists, most places only mean no pork. The table above only includes restaurants whose own page writes halal or certified ingredients; confirm at the restaurant on the day.
- Konbini: tasty and cheap, but read the label — the words for pork, alcohol and unclear ingredients are in the free sheet (get it).
- Weather: December in Tokyo and Kyoto is cold in the morning and evening (about 2–12 °C by JMA averages); Maghrib is around 16:30–17:00 — plan the afternoon prayer before you go out.
